The French youngster has baulked at penning new terms with United.
Hamburg football chief Frank Arnesen already been successful in signing Chelsea youth prospects Gokhan Tore and Jeffrey Bruma - the latter is on loan - and now has his eyes on another young talent in England in Pogba.
