Haitian youngster Herivaux to trial with Japan's Gamba Osaka

Haitian teenager Zachary Herivaux will trial with Japanese club Gamba Osaka in August.

The Shalrie Joseph Soccer Club (sponsored by the New England Revolution star) forward is of Japanese descent as his mother, Miki, hails from there and will attempt to make Gamba's youth academy next month.

"I'm a little nervous to see what it's like,'' says Herivaux. "I've never played soccer over there, but I know they play a much different style. I think we're a little more aggressive here.''

Herivaux is currently coached by his father, Pedro, who played for Gamba Osaka in the mid 1990s.
