Massadio Haidara says he feels settled at Newcastle United.

The fullback is approaching the one-year anniversary of his switch from Ligue 1 side Nancy.

Haidara told the Evening Chronicle: "It's great to have senior players from your own country around you.

"To be in the same dressing room as Yohan Cabaye, Yoan Gouffran, Moussa Sissoko and Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa has been a big help to me.

"They have helped me settle in England.

"It is difficult when a player comes to England at first but, thanks to the players and the support of the fans, I am enjoying life at the club."
