RB Salzburg striker Erling Haaland is prepared to join Manchester United - if Ole Gunnar Solskjaer remains in charge.
Reports on Tuesday night claimed that United are closing in on a £76m deal for Haaland - but will loan him back to Red Bull Salzburg for the remainder of the season.
TV2 says Haaland is 'likely' to end up at United, but the striker wants assurances from vice-chairman Ed Woodward of Solskjaer's future.
Haaland has sought the assurances that Solskjaer, his former manager at Molde, will be part of the club's long-term plans.
The report adds that Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig and Juventus are also looking at signing Haaland.
