Haaland demanding to be highest paid in Prem HISTORY to join Man City

Borussia Dortmund ace Erling Haaland will demand record money from Manchester City to make the move to England.

The Sun says Haaland will demand to become the highest-paid player in Premier League history if he is to join City this summer.

The 20-year-old Dortmund star is in City's sights following the announcement that club legend Sergio Aguero is to move on at the end of the season.

Talk is naturally turning to who will be the Argentinean's successor at the Etihad, and Haaland is believed to be at the top of Pep Guardiola's wish-list following his stunning displays in the Bundesliga and Champions League.

But Haaland will ask for a staggering £600,000-a-week deal - a contract which would be the most lucrative ever seen for a footballer in England and see the total package cost City around £300m.

While Dortmund are reluctant to let the Norwegian international go so soon, they are realistic that big-money bids should be expected this summer, and would find it difficult to turn down an offer in excess of an eye-watering £150m.
