Gyeongnam replace Jeju United at head of K-League

Gyeongnam jumped back to the top of the K-League table despite the departure of manager Cho Kwang-rae who took over the Korea Republic national team recently.

A 3-2 win over Jeonbuk Motors was the catalyst for replacing Jeju United at the summit with the former league leaders falling 4-2 at Chunnam Dragons.

In other K-League results, Gangwon defeated Daejeon Citizen 2-1, Mauricio Molina scored a hat-trick as Seongnam Ilhwa smashed Incheon United 4-1 away from home, Suwon Bluewings edged Ulsan Hyundai 3-2, Pohang Steelers grabbed maximum points at Daegu with a 2-0 win whilst Gwangju Sangmu and Busan I'Park had a 1-1 draw.
