Ilkay Gundogan has suspended new contract talks at Manchester City.
The Germany midfielder's current deal expires in 2020 and he has been linked with a return to the Bundesliga.
The 28 year-old wants assurances of regular playing time next season before returning to the negotiating table.
"If he really wanted to stay, he would have been long since extended," complained manager Pep Guardiola.
"We have extended with (Kevin) De Bruyne and other players within a few days. But Gundogan does not want to, so we wait. If he wants we will be there."
