Ilkay Gundogan expects Manchester City teammate Leroy Sane to stay.

Bayern Munich are interested in signing Sane, who they see as a long-term successor to either of departing club legends Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery.

But Gundogan has insisted that Pep Guardiola and City have no intention of letting Sane leave.

"If players in our team at one or another time do not play, it has now become a normal fact that there are automatic rumours," he told BILD.

"As our coach has already said, the club wants to keep Leroy."
