Dutch great Ruud Gullit says Real Madrid need to replace coach Zinedine Zidane with... Pep Guardiola.

Gullit says Real are melting down after watching their Champions League thrashing at PSG last night.

And he feels the answer to stop the slide is to dump Zidane for Manchester City's former Barcelona coach.

He stated: "I hope Pep will do it.

"That would be the icing on the cake for him as a trainer. We see the same with Jürgen Klopp: he has a different philosophy of work ethic, but he can work with the Liverpool system.

"I want now that Pep will do it because of what he brings to football."
