Dutch legend Ruud Gullit says Manchester City's morale will be hit by last night's Champions League elimination at the hands of Tottenham.

Spurs have ended City's Quadruple hopes with the result.

Gullit insists City will "feel the pain" when the two teams meet again in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon at the Etihad as they look to keep up their title charge.

"I feel for him because I see his passion, I see what motivates him and this is a huge blow for this team. They are going to play them again and they will feel the pain," Gullit told beIN SPORTS.

"Of course they want revenge but you can't, it's not the same. Tottenham want to stay also for top four so both have everything to fight for."
