Dutch great Ruud Gullit can see Pep Guardiola leaving Manchester City this summer.

Despite their two season Champions League ban, Guardiola has declared his commitment to the end of his current contract - which runs to 2021.

However, Gullit told SPOX: "I certainly don't rule that out (leaving).

"Pep is determined to conquer the Champions League, that's his holy grail. After his time at Barcelona, he never won that prize again. Guardiola was close to it a few times, but for some reason it always went wrong.

"I like him, because he leaves something behind at every club. Although he did not win the Champions League with Bayern, he changed the way of playing to make a big impression on the international stage. Pep has his own style and everyone walks away with his football philosophy, even at Manchester City."
