Dutch great Ruud Gullit believes Frenkie de Jong should move to Barcelona.

The Ajax midfielder appears ready to leave the Dutch giants next month and has Europe's biggest clubs chasing his signature.

Among them are Barca and Gullit says it would be a good choice for the midfield schemer.

He told Bleacher Report: "De Jong is ready to go onto a bigger platform.

"The football practiced in Spain is open, and it would be suitable for him. We'll see what he decides to do.

"There are also rumours about an offer from PSG."
