Swansea City manager Francesco Guidolin has stated that the current Chelsea team possesses the same intensity as the great Juventus sides of Antonio Conte's reign.
Chelsea claimed a hard fought 2-2 draw against Swansea in their Premier League encounter on Sunday and the Blues had to show a lot of resilience to earn their point late in the game.
Swansea boss Guidolin was left very impressed with Chelsea's performance against his side and following the game, the Italian has gone on to compare the current Blues' team to the all-conquering Juventus side built by Conte a few years ago.
Guiodolin said: "For character, for intensity, I saw the Juventus team.
"I saw his way of managing the team. With Chelsea, the shape is different but he's the same.
"He's ready to go up the table. He's ready for this amazing title race this year.
"I think Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, and maybe Liverpool and Tottenham… It is a very important, very difficult, very good race."
