Naby Keita's Guinea have crashed out of the African Cup of Nations at the hands of Algeria.
The Liverpool midfielder was unable to take part in the match after he returned to Merseyside with a thigh injury.
Led by Manchester City star Riyad Mahrez, Algeria booked their place in the quarter-finals with a rampaging 3-0 win over Paul Put's side.
The Desert Eagles will now face either Mali or Ivory Coast in the last eight.
