Hugo Guillamón is happy with his form in preseason at Valencia.
The young defender also admits he's enjoyed working under new coach Jose Bordalas.
"The coach was clear with all of us from the start," said Guillamón. "He explained everything that he was going to be looking for this season, and everything that he was going to ask of us.
"We've been working with him for a few weeks, and we're gradually seeing the mark he wants to make on the team."
He also revealed: "At the moment I'm playing more as a central midfielder. The coach feels that I can play in that position, and that's what I'm here for: To help the team.
"I've been tried out in that position for several years. I've felt more and more comfortable there. I think I'm in good shape now, preparing in these weeks before the league starts. I think that it's going to be a great year."
