Guidolin job in danger after poor Swansea beginning

Swansea City manager Francesco Guidolin's job is under threat just five games into the season, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Swans have made a poor start to the season and have managed only four points in their opening five games, which has them occupying 15th spot in the league table.

The Italian manager's recent confrontations with Ki Sung-yueng and Neil Taylor have also not helped his cause.

Guidolin joined the Swans in January this year and steered them out of the relegation battle into 12th position by the end of the season.

He was awarded a two-year deal in May for his achievements with the club last term but is believed to be in danger of losing the job if he cannot manufacture some positive results over the coming weeks.
