Guidolin back at Swansea for Burnley win

Former Swansea City boss Francesco Guidolin was in the stands for their win over Burnley.

WalesOnline says Guidolin's attendance is not connected to the former Parma and Udinese boss taking up a position at the Liberty.

Guidolin shares an agent with Andre and Jordan Ayew and, when his representative mentioned the Italian's presence in London visiting family he was extended an invitation to attend the game as a guest of Swansea City, having retained a good relationship and kept in contact with several senior figures despite his departure.

Guidolin received a warm welcome from staff and supporters and briefly greeted the media following the game, describing himself as a good luck charm, pointing out that he had watched two games at the Liberty from the stands and seen the hosts triumph 1-0 on each occasion.
