John Guidetti is delighted for Sweden teammate Victor Lindelof over his imminent move to Manchester United.
United confirmed over the weekend that a fee had been struck with Benfica for the defender.
Former Manchester City striker Guidetti, who is coming off contract at Celta Vigo, told Expressen: "We've talked, but it's between me and Victor. I'm a good friend. But how much: it must be he who talks about it.
"What can I say? It's fantastic, of course. He is an amazing person and player. I'm so happy for him and hope that it goes well. Manchester is a great city, he will probably enjoy himself and find that it's fun. You play well and life's good. But it is different than Lisbon. These are two great cities."
Guidetti added: "He can play anywhere. He is an incredibly talented football player."
