Matteo Guendouzi is urging Olympique Marseille teammate Boubacar Kamara to stay.

Off contract in June, Kamara is a target for Atletico Madrid and Aston Villa.

But Guendouzi says: "I had the chance to know him long before, he was already a friend. I knew him as a footballer. He is having an extraordinary season, he is a player who means that the team is still in contention for the C1.

"We don't know, maybe he will have the opportunity to extend this summer.

"I hope he will extend, he grew up here, his family lives here, he loves the club."
