Arsenal star Matteo Guendouzi, who is on loan at Hertha Berlin, was critical of his experiences at the club.
Guendouzi and Gunners manager Mikel Arteta fell out last season after the COVID-19 lockdown and subsequent restart.
The 21-year-old is at the Bundesliga club for this season, and may move away from Arsenal permanently in the summer.
Guendouzi was asked about his reasons for going on loan in a recent interview.
"I needed to have fun on the pitch, to regain confidence and that's what Hertha offers me. It really is a choice I made," Guendouzi told Telefoot.
"In the space of two seasons I have played more than 80 games with Arsenal. When you play less, you start to think and it hurts."
