Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi says a return to PSG was never seriously considered.
Guendouzi left FC Lorient last summer for Arsenal, despite talk of a return to his former junior club.
He told L'Equipe: "Paris was my heart club in France because I played from six to fifteen years there. Growing up, I watched other teams and I fell in love with Arsenal.
"I was not very committed but I saw many, many videos. Players like Thierry Henry and Patrick Vieira made me love this club, I dreamed of going there. When I pass the Emirates and I see the statue of Henry, I think back to these videos.
"From the moment Arsenal came, it was clear. I'm not going to lie, it's a step I saw later in my career. But joining such a club at nineteen, any player would like it."
