Fredy Guarin admits Inter Milan let down their fans after defeat to Europa League opponents Wolfsburg.

Inter were outclassed home and away.

"I have nothing to say, the fans expected better from us," said Guarin.

"Yesterday they were hoping for a victory. It was hard, and we tried. I'm a supporter myself and I'm sorry, I didn't like that.

"Now we must believe in it, try and win every game and then we'll see what happens.

"The truth is that we, the players, haven't won anything. We must think that all of us have to contribute a bit more in order to win.

"We have a phenomenal opportunity to bring prestige back to this club."
