Pep Guardiola is set to stay at Manchester City - despite their recent UEFA ban.
City are excluded from the next two editions of the UEFA Champions League due to a breach of Financial Fair Play rules.
It means that City cannot play in the 2020/21 and 2021/22 editions of the competition, starting from next season.
But Goal claims that City are confident their appeal will be successful.
They also expect manager Guardiola to remain in charge beyond this term.
Guardiola has a year left on his deal when the season concludes.
The club believes he has no intention of walking out a year early.
