Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola suggests his side will not sign a replacement for David Silva this summer.
The veteran Spanish midfielder is set to leave City after a decade at the club.
He is out of contract and will move on to the next chapter in his career, which could involve a return to Spain.
And Guardiola does not think City will buy a replacement.
"I don't think we're going to do anything in this position, I don't think we will sign anyone," he told reporters.
"Maybe I will change my mind it depends on the next six months, but I have other priorities and I don't think I'm going to buy because I have enough.
"Bernardo can play there, Phil is there, we have (Ilkay) Gundogan, we have Kevin (De Bruyne) so I don't think we will do anything in this position.
"That is my thought today, we will see at the end of the season."
