Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola insists he's in the dark over new contract talks for Raheem Sterling.

Sterling is said to be demanding a £100,000-a-week pay-rise to stay.

“It's well known that we are delighted about him. We would like to continue," said Guardiola.

"The club has my opinion about that. We share our opinions and after it's club and agent. I'm outside, I'm not involved.

“Sometimes these kind of thing needs their own time. (What's) important is Raheem and his people know how delighted we are with him but after that, maybe it happens, maybe not."
