Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is backing Bayern Munich to beat Liverpool in tonight's Champions League showdown.

City, Tottenham and Manchester United are all in the quarterfinals - and Liverpool can join them with victory at Bayern.

“I apologise to the English, but I want Bayern to continue. I still feel connected to the club. I love Munich.

"I love Bayern. I have many friends there.

"It would be a difficult quarterfinals, but I hope so," he told Sky Deutschland.
