Guardiola admits he's using the technology more in training.
"It helps to make the football players clear on the formations, to show where at certain moments the spaces arise on a field," said Guardiola.
The course costs over £1,000 which will be covered by the club.
Charlton U14 coach David Powderly explained to The Sun: "It limits you if you can only film from a position or from the side of the field. If you use a drone, you can film the players from a bird's eye view and hover over specific areas and players on the field."
