Guardiola sends Man City coaching staff on drone course

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has sent his coaching staff away on a drone course.

Guardiola admits he's using the technology more in training.

"It helps to make the football players clear on the formations, to show where at certain moments the spaces arise on a field," said Guardiola.

The course costs over £1,000 which will be covered by the club.

Charlton U14 coach David Powderly explained to The Sun: "It limits you if you can only film from a position or from the side of the field. If you use a drone, you can film the players from a bird's eye view and hover over specific areas and players on the field."
