Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola wants to bring Kylian Mbappe to the Etihad next season.
The PSG striker is expected to leave Paris in 2020 - with Real Madrid regarded as favourites for his signature.
However, France Football says City are also in contact and it's suggested Guardiola is personally driving the push. The Catalan has identified Mbappe as the ideal striker to succeed veteran Sergio Aguero.
In Madrid, it's claimed Real president Florentino Perez is prepared to pay over €300m to win the race for the World Cup winner's signature.
