Manchester City are joining the battle for unsettled PSG striker Kylian Mbappe.

Real Madrid are regarded as favourites for Mbappe, who is expected to leave PSG this summer. The striker has already resisted PSG attempts to open talks about a new contract.

Real president Florentino Perez is prepared to throw a world record €300m-plus at the deal. However, El Confidencial says he will face competition from Barcelona and City.

And City's interest has turned the head of Mbappe, who would be eager to work with manager Pep Guardiola. The striker feels his game would jump a level working with the Catalan.

Mbappe's current deal runs to 2022.
