Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says he doesn't feel any extra pressure bringing European success to the club.
There is a burning desire among the City hierarchy to lift the Champions League and elevate the club to the elite level in Europe. Against that backdrop, there is huge pressure on Guardiola to deliver, but he insisted he does not feel the weight of expectation.
"I don't feel this kind of pressure," said Guardiola. “Chelsea were working for it for a long time [before evntually winning the final in 2012].
“Everyone wants it, but the pressure is to do a good job and try, to improve from the mistakes from the past. It's a competition that punishes you a lot. In this competition, there is no other game, the focus has to be incredible."
