Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola had five U23 players join his senior squad during international week.

Guardiola included the youngsters ahead of their clash with Burnley.

Philippe Sandler, Cameron Humphreys, Iker Pozo, Adria Bernabe and Alpha Dionkou stepped up this week to prepare for the fixture along with senior stars like Kevin De Bruyne and Fernandinho.

None of the five players are expected to feature for the visit of the Clarets but their involvement in training suggests Guardiola has high hopes for their development.
