Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has approved a move for Real Sociedad midfielder Mikel Oyarzabal.

AS says City are preparing for life without Leroy Sane and will soon step up their pursuit of Oyarzabal.

Sane is being targeted by Bayern Munich and although City are desperate to keep hold of their German star, the player himself is reportedly keen on returning home.

City have drawn up a shortlist of potential replacements and top of the pile is Real Sociedad star Oyarzabal.

Pep Guardiola has given the green light to pay Oyarzabal's €75million release clause should Sane make the switch to Munich.
