Youngster Marko Grujic has expressed his delight at enjoying a 'perfect' start to life at Liverpool.

Winter signing Grujic, who returned to Red Star Belgrade on loan for the second part of last season, made his Liverpool debut in the friendly encounter against Fleetwood Town on Wednesday at Highbury Stadium and the youngster was able to mark the occasion by finding the back of the net in a 5-0 victory for the Reds.

The 20-year-old was understandably left very pleased at how his debut went and has now gone on to state that he is already looking forward to the next few matches of pre-season.

Grujic said: "My dream has come true, I feel very happy and proud.

"When I came here I only wanted to be with these guys. The coach gave me the chance to play in the first XI and to score and I am so happy.

"Everything from the start is perfect. The players are very friendly. In the next games we will try to get better and better. We will start the season ready."
