Eredivisie club FC Groningen are interested in signing Liverpool starlet Jerome Sinclair, according to The Mirror.

The report claims that the Dutch club's scouts were present for the Liverpool U21 side's draw with Norwich City on Monday.

Sinclair's contract with the Reds expires in the summer and talks over a new deal between the two parties have stalled.

Groningen are ready to pay a compensation fee to the Reds for the 19-year-old.

There are also claims that La Liga side Espanyol are also interested in the services of one of Melwood's best young prospects.
