FC Groningen goalkeeper Sergio Padt is a target for Crystal Palace.

The Guardian says the 27-year-old Dutchman, who started his senior career at Ajax, has established himself in the Eredivisie in recent seasons, having made 100 appearances for Groningen.

Padt has also spent time in Belgium in his career, featuring more than 50 times for Gent, while he also had loan spells in Holland, featuring more than 30 times for Go Ahead Eagles and once for Haarlem.

He has also featured for the Netherlands at U17 and U21 level, and after another former Ajax goalkeeper – Jasper Cillessen – insisted he was happy at Barcelona, Palace could now move for Padt.
