FC Groningen coach Danny Buijs has no doubts about the future of Ko Itakura.

On a season-long loan from Manchester City, Itakura has impressed with Groningen this term.

And Buijs says of the youngster: "If you look at how he develops, we probably won't be able to do that for another season, because I would really like to keep him here longer.

"I say it with some pain in my heart, but I think Ko will make a very nice transfer this summer."

Buijs finds it difficult to say whether Itakura could handle the level of Ajax or PSV.

“That also depends on whether he should makeit there immediately, or whether he is given a few months to adjust. He also needed that time with us."
