Griffiths eager to keep adding to Scotland caps tally

Scotland striker Leigh Griffiths is determined to win more international caps after appearing three times since his debut late last year.

The 23-year old Wolves ace has played in World Cup qualifiers against Croatia in June and Belgium on Friday night, as well as a friendly with England in London last month, to add to his 2012 debut against Luxembourg and he has his fingers crossed that more international action will come his way.

"It was great to finally get my debut in Croatia and I managed to get on at Wembley and start on Friday as well, so I'm hoping that continues for a long time," the former Hibernian loan star said.

"I'm hoping to get game time, but that's up to the manager to decide if he wants to start with me or put me on the bench and I can have an impact from the bench.

"But whatever team he puts out, I'm sure we will do well."
