Green on the verge of West Ham exit

West Ham goalkeeper Robert Green could be headed for a January exit.

The England international's contract at Upton Park runs out soon and with the Hammers' current financial situation, it seems as though a departure is well on the cards.

West Ham believe that Green will fetch up to £5million in the January market and see it an ideal opportunity to get some cash for him before he is able to leave for free down the track.

The club is preparing for incoming bids for the 29-year old and could be better off if Green is bought as they are sure to save money on his wages if he departs.
