Granada have announced Rubén Torrecilla will take charge after the sacking of Robert Moreno.

Moreno was dismissed on Sunday after defeat to Valencia.

The club announced in a statement: “From Granada we want to thank Robert Moreno for his work and dedication during this period and we wish him all the luck in the future.

"It is time for unity, illusion and work! When the fans, the players and the club's echelons come together, that's when we live up to our motto and our history. Eternal fight!"

Torrecilla steps up from Recreativo Granada and will be in charge for the weekend clash against Elche.
