Mark Gower has agreed new terms with Swansea City over a new one-year deal.

Swans boss Brendan Rodgers has been impressed by Gower's form since the club returned to the top flight and is delighted to secure him until June 2013.

Rodgers said: "Mark thoroughly deserves this. He is a great professional who is getting a chance in the Premier League when he probably should have been playing at this level many years ago."
