Robin Gosens says Germany coach Hansi Flick urged him to join Inter Milan.

The fullback left Atalanta for Inter last month.

“He told me very clearly that if I felt it was right for me and my family, then I had to do it," said Gosens.

The offer was real and the negotiations were as described. But I never said yes.

"And then came Inter, who then wanted to finish everything relatively quickly. And as a result, the complete transfer actually took place within 48 hours."
