Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish has revealed defender James Tomkins has received an injury boost.
The summer signing made his full Premier League debut against Stoke on Sunday before being forced off at the interval with an injury.
But Parish hopes news that Tomkins' injury is not as bad as first feared is a sign that the club's run of bad luck is about to turn.
"We need some more luck than we had with injuries last year," Parish told The Sun.
"We've had some good news with Tomkins this week because it looks like his knee's okay although he went off at half-time.
"We've had a bit of a bad run with injuries, so hopefully our luck's about to turn."
