Gold Coast United have lured some big names to the club for their inaugural season the A-League but do not want to be thought of as a one-man team.
Socceroos star Jason Culina, the club's marquee signing, is expected to make his pre-season debut for the club tonight against Singapore's U23 side but defender Bas van den Brink hopes his teammates provide plenty of assistance.
"We can't expect Jason to provide all the answers," the Dutchman said.
"Everybody knows he's a great player.
"But he's only one person in a team game and we all need to rally around, play our part and help him to flourish and play with the freedom he wants to.
"It's no good anybody in the team sitting back and thinking that Jason will do it all for us.
"We don't want to be thought of as a one-man team because there is a lot of ability all around the squad."
