Gloucester discuss groundshare with Cheltenham

The Blue Square North outfit currently play their home games at Cirencester Town after the floods of July 2007 left their Meadow Park ground in ruins for the last time. Gloucester are determined to bring football back to a new ground in the city as soon as possible but have opened discussions with Cheltenham in regard to playing at the League Two club's stadium for the next two years.

Robins chairman Paul Baker told the club's official website: "We've held some initial talks with Gloucester City. The discussions were positive but we are still in the early stages.

"Both clubs have to be sure that a ground-sharing arrangement is right for them and we will be holding further discussions in the near future."
