The Glazers insist Manchester United are not for sale.

The Mirror says the Glazers told Saudi Arabia's Prince Mohammed bin Salman that the club wasn't for sale when they came calling 18 months ago.

The Red Devils powerbrokers have come under scrutiny amid the side's struggles under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this season.

The Middle East based Prince was reportedly willing to pay a huge £3.5billion in order to take the club off the Glazers' hands.

That would have meant the United owners making a profit, with the Americans previously paying £790m in 2005.

But the Glazers said no and, as things stand, appear to have no intentions of selling up.
