Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Thorgan Hazard says he can handle comparisons with brother Eden.
Thorgan has no problem playing in the shadow of Chelsea star Eden Hazard.
"You have to be blind to think that I have the same qualities as Eden: Look, Eden is a beastly good footballer, one of the best players in the world," Thorgan told Sport/Voetbal magazine.
"He has arranged his career perfectly, made the right choices at the right time, my development went slower than Eden."
Between 2012 and 2015, Thorgan, just like Eden, was under contract with Chelsea, but unlike his brother, he never played for the Blues.
"I never denied it: without my brother I would never have reached Chelsea, only an idiot will say that Eden did not play a role in that transfer," Thorgan admits. "But I know that, without the help of Eden, I myself must develop my career and live up to my name, or rather, I have to make sure people remember my first name."
