Gladbach keen to try again for West Ham defender Oxford

Borussia Monchengladbach are exploring the prospect of re-signing West Ham defender Reece Oxford.

Gladbach failed with a bid of €14.5m for Oxford last January, having had him on-loan last season.

Sky Deutschland says Gladbach chief Max Eberl is now eager to try again for the English youngster.

Despite his big reputation, Oxford has struggled this season to win over manager Manuel Pellegrini and could be willing to return to Germany in January.

The defender is tied to West Ham until 2021.
