Stephen Ireland remains in talks with Bundesliga clubs.

The former Manchester City midfielder is a free agent after coming off contract at Stoke City this summer.

RevierSport says Ireland, 31, has spoken to Borussia Monchengladbach, while several Germans rivals have also expressed interest.

Ireland saw action last season for Stoke, having recovered from a broken leg injury which kept him out for almost two years.
