Borussia Monchengladbach defender Steve Gohouri has begun training with Wigan Athletic.
The Mirror says Latics boss Roberto Martinez is looking at Ivory Coast World Cup hopeful Gohouri who has joined Latics for a trial with a view to coming on a free transfer.
Gohouri came close to joining Barnsley earlier this season.
