Borussia Monchengladbach coach Andre Schubert is unhappy about the transfer interest swirling around Mahmoud Dahoud.

The midfielder was watched by Liverpool scouts in action for Germany U21 earlier this week.

Schubert lamented: "There's so much today that is happening around the boy.

"Because there is interest from other clubs, as there is talk about the national team, which is not healthy, and this is a lot of hype. This is not easy to cope with.

"Mo must now focus on his strengths and try not to be so much influenced by the things that happen around him."
